Spirebound is an idle auto-battler set in a colourful, moonlit dark-fantasy world. You run a band of mercenaries at the foot of the Tower of Ashes, an endless cursed spire. Your heroes fight on their own; you make the decisions that matter: who fights, what they carry, how they are built, and how hard to push.

Think Battle Brothers company management meets Path of Exile loot, in a game that keeps climbing while you're away.

Features

  • A company, not a single hero. Hire recruits from the Tavern, each with a background, traits and talents. Four classes (Knight, Ranger, Cleric and Hexer), each with three build directions.
  • Battle Brothers-style perk grids. Every hero levels into a perk grid, so two Knights can play nothing alike. Pick one keystone, plan your build ahead, let Auto-learn follow it, and respec when you need to.
  • Path of Exile-style loot. Items drop as Normal, Magic, Rare or Unique, with rolled prefixes and suffixes in tiers. Read them, compare them, equip what fits your build, and salvage the rest into crafting materials for the Forge.
  • Tactics you write yourself. Give each hero simple "if this, then cast that" rules (heal an ally below 50%, shield up when a boss attack is coming) and watch them play it out.
  • Captain powers. Step in with Rally, Stand Fast and Smite at the right moment. A shield timed to a boss telegraph can turn a wipe into a clutch win.
  • Build up your camp. Barracks, Tavern, Smithy, Infirmary, War Table and Vault each open new options. The Company Drill turns spare gold into permanent upgrades.
  • A tower that changes as you climb. Crypt depths, grave terraces, flooded cisterns, an arcane library, forge halls, moonlit battlements and a ruined great hall, each with its own look and light.
  • Ascension and the Legacy. Reach Floor 30 to Ascend. You start over with Renown to spend on a Legacy tree that makes every later climb stronger.
  • Codex. Fill the Bestiary, the Affix codex and the wall of Uniques as you go.
  • Fair idle. Your company keeps fighting while you're away, for up to 12 hours (the Vault raises the cap). A Welcome Back screen shows what they brought home. Heroes never die while you're away.
  • Moody sound. A dark-fantasy ambience, drum-and-gong stings and a distinct sound for every ability.
